I'm a data scientist and economic researcher whose work sits at the intersection of rigorous quantitative analysis and clear public communication, turning large datasets and economic models into findings that non-specialist audiences can act on. My tools are Python, R, SQL, and Stata; my questions tend to involve labor markets, AI, urban policy, and public finance.
My day job is at LinkedIn, where I build data science systems at platform scale. Alongside that, I hold an affiliate researcher position at MIT FutureTech, where I examine AI progress and its economic implications, benchmarking generative AI forecasts against prior technology cycles and analyzing the training data trends that drive capability gains.
I'm a part-time MPA student at NYU Wagner, focused on policy analysis. I bring the same quantitative lens to the classroom that I apply to my research and writing.
Before LinkedIn, I was a data scientist at Starbucks, supporting pricing recommendations and product analytics across international markets. Before that I was a Senior Analyst at Accenture Research, producing quantitative research on generative AI's labor market impact for enterprise and policy audiences. Earlier, as a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, I contributed to peer-reviewed work on macroeconomics, housing markets, and employment.
I studied Joint Math-Economics at UC San Diego (B.S., 2019), graduating with Provost's Honors. There I co-authored research on WWII-era unemployment dynamics and published work on income-education gradients in developing nations.
My policy writing lives at NYCuriosity, a Substack where I apply the same analytical rigor to NYC governance: transit funding gaps, street safety mandates, Community Board votes, and parking politics. I'm an appointed member of Manhattan Community Board 3, serving on the Parks Committee, which puts me in the room for land use, street design, and budget decisions in the Lower East Side and East Village.
I've also contributed to Block Party's civic tech platform, building the community board resolutions knowledge base that makes CB records searchable citywide. I'm a member of Technologists for the Public Good.
